Our Countertop Process, Here at Luxor

Member of The Marble Institute of America Get Prepared So You Can Shop
First things first, we ask that you come prepared to shop for a new countertop. You might like to read our checklists for choosing a countertop first:

Bring Measurements
You will need to bring measurements* of your space so that we are able to calculate square footage and give you a more precise quote for your job. If you are trying to match the new countertop with an existing color-scheme or style, please be sure to bring pictures or samples of other finishes in the space.

If you are worried that you may not have all the information you need to help you pick a new countertop, it's ok! We have very knowledgeable people here to help you every step of the way, including an in-house designer.

Let's Discuss Your Project
When you first come into the showroom, we will begin by talking about your project: Measurements, what you are hoping to achieve in the space, what you are hoping to avoid, budget, and other questions that you will be able to answer easily and efficiently in order to give us a better idea of how to help you. Once we feel like we have enough information from you to get started, we will guide you around our showroom and stone yard in order to start making selections and giving you price-points to reference. And don't worry, we will be taking extensive notes along the way and will send you home with a copy of your own to review.

Get The Details About Your Selections
The next step in the process is to talk over your selections**. We will give you pricing based on your square footage, material selection, and any sinks, cutouts, or removal that may be involved in your project.

50% Deposit Required
In order to begin your project, we require 50% on the amount of the quote given to you. Once this deposit is made, we will schedule a time for a template to be made of your countertops, which will be used to cut from. Once the template is made, you have the option of coming to do a layout of your template onto your stones to make sure that you are getting what you want. At this point, it should only take 5-7 days for your stones to be fabricated and ready to install.

We're Here To Help
We are available to you throughout the entire process to help you with any questions or concerns and to make sure that your project is completed smoothly and successfully.

Start Enjoying Your New Countertop(s)

*To take efficient measurements of your countertops: make a small drawing of the surfaces in the space. Use a measuring tape along the BACK/longest edge of each stretch of countertop surface, as well as one of the sides so that we have the width for all of them. If you need a backsplash of the same material, be sure to bring the measurements for that as well.

**If you were not able to make any selections from our current inventory, we will send you to some of our suppliers that will best suit your particular needs in order for you to select stones there.
